More Data Cake, Please! (EpicGraphic.com)

I would change "data" to "information" and "information" to "intelligence" but other than that, I like this cake!

Is this the cover for the "Analyst's Cookbook Vol 2?"

Is the product of the intelligence process knowledge?

For what it's worth, I just completed my dissertation exploring the philosophy of data (and how different people understand the nature of data differently.) And I cover a number of different hierarchies of data, information, and knowledge.

This image makes me twitch. :)

Brian,

I took a look at the first couple of pages and the abstract of your dissertation and I agree it looks interesting. I look forward to reading it.

Anonymous,

I think the product of the intelligence process is intelligence (or, if you prefer, at the high end of it, an estimate).

You raise a good point, though. What should we call it once intelligence is consumed? What adjective describes the condition we hope to find the decisionmaker in once he/she has eaten the product of the intelligence process? Knowledgeable? Enlightened?
